Having Eyes To See | Morning Briefing | Ep. 253
Welcome Back! On this Monday’s episode of Morning Briefing, we see in 2 Kings 3 how far the Moabite king is willing to go to win a war after being in rebellion to Israel. We want to pray for the Ekklesia to have eyes to see in this season. In the news, we learned of a resolution coming forward in the UN General Assembly to force Israel to denuclearize and make the entire Middle East nuclear free…while allowing Iran to continue developing their nuclear weapons. We also report on the situation in Ukraine with the war and shipping battles of getting grain out of the port. In the US, we look at both sides of the story on the profits from oil companies as things haven’t always been as the President makes them out to be.
Join us as we break down the news of the day to stay focused on our prayer points. #checkouremotionsatthedoor #wehavesoulstosave
Verse of the Day: 2 Kings 3:24-27
Intercession Points for 10/31:
- “Have eyes to see the enemy’s sacrifices around you. Here we find where Moab rose up against Israel in rebellion. The Moabite king. Seeing that he was being soundly defeated in battle, took his oldest son who was to inherit the throne and killed him, offering him “as a burnt sacrifice along the wall” (v 27).” The Future War of the Church, by Chuck D. Pierce and Rebecca Wagner Sytsema
- Intercede for the Biden Admin to have the strength to continue to stand with Israel as the UNGA looks to denuclearize Israel.
- Intercede for voters to vote based upon Biblical Moral Values in the upcoming midterm elections.
