The Joy of The Lord Is Our Strength | Morning Briefing | Ep. 221
Welcome Back! On this Monday’s episode of Morning Briefing, we look at Elijah’s journey in 1 Kings 19, as an example, how even at our weakest points we find our strength in the Lord. In the news, we stay up to date on the latest out on the Iran Nuclear Deal discussions. The IAEA head is wondering when Iran will answer questions and allow the IAEA to finish its investigation. Then we learn of the dispute amongst the Democrats around the side deal Sen. Schumer and Sen. Manchin made when the ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ was passed. Closing, we learned of the case involving religious liberty at Yeshiva University.
Join us as we break down the news of the day to stay focused on our prayer points. #checkouremotionsatthedoor #wehavesoulstosave
Verse of the Day: 1 Kings 19 (NASB)
Intercession Points for 9/12:
- Do not let weariness make you run. When words come to us in the midst of our spent emotional seasons, we can react wrongly. Stop and let the Lord rebuild your strength. The joy of the Lord is your strength.
- Repent for the Biden Admin’s stance to get back into the Iran Nuclear Deal. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Intercede for the Biden Admin and military leaders to have the fear of the Lord when making decisions on Israel and Iran.
- Intercede for both Rep. & Dem Congressional and Senate leaders to stand against this Bernie Sanders spending bill that the Lord has shown will cripple the next 3-4 generations.
- Intercede for SCOTUS to rule in accordance with founding principles to stand for the 1st Amendment in this Golden Court Case for Yeshiva University.
